The PMI-DHC Board of Directors is composed of dedicated volunteers elected by PMI members. They embody PMI’s culture values by fostering trust, building connections, and engaging diverse perspectives with honesty, integrity, and empathy. Board members collaborate with each other and with PMI to:

  • Provide strategic oversight and ensure PMI-DHC achieves its purpose and objectives.
  • Lead with vision, supporting initiatives like PMI: Next to deliver meaningful value to our membership and local community.

Sylvie EdwardsSylvie Edwards, Former DHC Board Member

"I have been a long standing member of both PMI® and PMI-DHC for more than 23 years. I have always found value in their offerings but the day that I decided to join the Board of Directors and contribute in a deeper way is when I found a passion. I love to share with new members this passion for volunteering, growing a community of practice and in that same way project management as a profession. I would highly recommend that if you want to get that “spring” in your step and to see your work contributing to our community, there’s no place better than putting your hand up for a board of director seat. Don’t kid yourself, it can be work, but work that still to this day leaves me smiling and proud."
